Travel along the Intracoastal Waterway in North Carolina you’ll occasionally encounter an abandoned boat nestled in the salt grasses. This shrimp boat was run aground in the town of Seaside. It caught my eye many years ago and I photographed it. I pulled from my archives and decided it was a good watercolor subject. Here it is.
