Early morning at the Portland Head Lighthouse (Portland, ME) was peaceful and calm on one of the days I visited. The air was still, waters were calm and the sunrise left a pastel hue in the sky. In this painting I tried to capture the feeling of that day and peace I felt sitting on the rocks nearby.
